Why Join Us:

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with full stack (any mix of front end, backend, and database) experience to join our team building the future of radiology. This role will work alongside our high-performing cross-functional team of Full Stack Engineers, ML Engineers, and Product Leaders, and various other teams internally and externally to develop this responsive and performant application.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Develop on large-scale progressive and single page web applications that streamline user workflows and increase their efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Work on a modern Javascript (React/Typescript) frontend application.

3. Develop our Python, FastAPI backend services including a REST API and ML pipeline services.

4. Build new features that support our rapidly growing number of customers.

5. Write code that meets our internal standards for security, style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale HIPAA web environment.

6. Work with Product Management, UX, Customer Success and other stakeholders to iterate on new features and address defects.

7. Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have a particular impact across your team.

Who We’re Looking For:

1. 5+ years of industry full stack engineering experience with single and multi-tenanted environments.

2. In-depth knowledge of Javascript / TypeScript, Python and FastAPI, or equivalent modern languages/frameworks.

3. Knowledge of relational and document based databases, as well as other large scale data storage paradigms.

4. Knowledge of modern web architecture and best practices.

5. Fluency with HTML, CSS, responsive design, and other related web technologies.

6. Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, browser networking, and browser APIs such as IndexedDB and WebSockets.

7. Experience with unit and integration testing.

8. Experience working on a distributed team and strong version control skills using git.

9. Experience with performance and optimization problems, particularly at large scale, and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.

Nice to Haves:

1. Experience with Typescript and React.

2. Experience with Python, FastAPI, Starlette, SQLAlchemy.

3. Experience with PostgreSQL.

4. Experience with 3rd-party integrations such as Auth0, Amplitude.

5. Experience working at an early-stage startup.

6. Experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment, especially with FHIR and HL7.

7. Experience working on machine learning.
