We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing multi-tenant SaaS solutions and a proven track record in front-end development. This professional will play a pivotal role in innovating and driving the success of our team.

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will serve as a technical reference within the team, guiding and providing expertise in front-end development best practices. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, and designers. You will be responsible for leading significant evolutions in our products to better meet customer needs and seize market opportunities.

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of the VTEX Search & Ads team facing the challenge of delivering the best product discovery journey for our customers by mixing a powerful Search Engine with our Retail Media Network that enables retailers to monetize their traffic, merging products by relevance with sponsored products in multiple channels.

WHO YOU ARE

• Someone with academic background preferably in Engineering courses, such as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• You have a solid track record in front-end development. Also, a strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as Typescript, GraphQL, CSS3, and frameworks/libraries like React and Next.
• You have demonstrated experience in a technical guidance capacity, successfully guiding project teams and establishing strategic technical direction;
• You have experience in software development, maintenance, and evolving large-scale and resilient frontend applications with 24/7 uptime;
• You are proficient in automated tests, its different types, and strategies;
• You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality code in a fast-paced, agile environment;
• You have proficiency in English and Portuguese;
• You tackle the problems always with a business-oriented approach;
• You are hands-on and curious about AI, using LLMs, automation, and design/dev tools to boost speed, quality, and clarity in your workflow, while staying thoughtful about their limitations, safety, and responsible use.
• You should be based in any Brazilian city;
• Experience working in commerce solutions is a plus!
