Jobgether está buscando um Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences, para trabalhar com equipes multifuncionais no Brasil. Você criará e manterá sistemas fundamentais, APIs e SDKs que impulsionam experiências de usuário em várias plataformas, mantendo foco em desempenho, escalabilidade e qualidade.

A posição requer liderança técnica, visão de produto e colaboração com engenheiros, designers e gerentes de produto.

Qualificações

• Experiência sólida em construir software e sistemas centrais.
• Design de arquiteturas escaláveis, APIs e back-ends.
• Proficiente em Kotlin, com experiência em multiplataforma.
• Experiência com ambientes em nuvem, especialmente GCP.
• Entendimento de design de sistemas, otimização de desempenho e práticas de engenharia.
• Capacidade de tomar decisões técnicas de forma autônoma.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences, you will design, develop, and maintain the foundational systems that support product experiences across platforms. You will work at the intersection of product and infrastructure, creating reliable APIs, SDKs, and services while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

• Partner with Product teams to define technical solutions, reduce project scope where appropriate, and deliver impactful features quickly.
• Build and maintain cross-platform SDKs and foundational services that support seamless user experiences.
• Design and improve backend services, cloud functions, and lightweight systems using modern engineering practices.
• Optimize existing functionality by improving algorithms, abstractions, performance, and system reliability.
• Develop solutions that enable faster loading, intelligent content processing, and improved product performance.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs across different product requirements, integrations, and user experience considerations.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions with a focus on simplicity, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in a fast-paced engineering environment by balancing speed, quality, experimentation, and sustainable development practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with strong systems thinking, product awareness, and experience building reliable software solutions. You should be comfortable working independently, collaborating across teams, and making thoughtful technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.

• Strong professional experience building and maintaining software applications and core engineering systems.
• Experience designing scalable architectures, APIs, SDKs, and backend services.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with Kotlin Multiplatform experience preferred; Java experience is also considered relevant.
• Experience working with cloud environments; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and create simple, effective solutions.
• Experience improving application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to move quickly, prioritize effectively, and balance immediate delivery with long-term technical quality.
