Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (AWS + TypeScript)

Location: Remote (Global)

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Level: 8+ years

Salary range: 3K to 5K USD/month.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in TypeScript and AWS. In this role, you’ll own the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable services and infrastructureleveraging AWS cloud-native tools and writing clean, robust TypeScript code.

You’ll join a high-impact team where decisions move fast, autonomy is encouraged, and technical excellence is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using TypeScript and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Build and maintain infrastructure using AWS CDK (preferably in TypeScript)
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of serverless applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps
• Maintain strong test coverage and write clean, maintainable code
• Lead architectural discussions and help mentor other engineers

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript in backend and/or full-stack projects
• Proven experience building and deploying applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation/CDK)
• Comfortable working with infrastructure as code and CI/CD workflows
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS)
• Knowledge of GraphQL or REST API design
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture or distributed systems
