Jobtailor is seeking a Content SEO Strategist to develop end-to-end content plans aligned with client goals and briefs. You will lead digital authority strategies, including link building, mentions, and digital PR while structuring content for GEO/Generative Engine optimization.

You’ll apply generative AI for ideation, production, and scaling, producing content for pages and blogs, and optimizing on-page elements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising or other Communication fields.
• Solid, proven SEO experience with a focus on content, strategy and authority.
• Excellent writing skills and strong web writing, spelling and grammar.
• Experience with digital reputation and authority strategies—link building, mentions and digital PR.
• Proficiency in applying generative AI for content production with critical curation.
• Understanding of GEO and structuring content for generative engines.
• Mastery of E-E-A-T, content pruning, competitor analysis and content gap ID.
• Tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Trends, GTM and GA.
• English and Portuguese required; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness for on-site travel to Rio de Janeiro (up to 10 days’ notice).

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end content plans and strategies aligned with clients' goals, challenges and briefs, based on diagnostics and audits;
• Lead digital authority and reputation strategy — link building, mentions and digital PR — including proposing, producing and developing unique assets aligned with the content plan;
• Structure and optimize content for GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), adapting it to how generative engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, etc.) retrieve, cite and synthesize content;
• Apply generative AI strategically in ideation, production and scaling of content, with critical curation of quality, accuracy and tone;
• Produce and guide the creation of content for landing pages, pillar pages, department pages, category and subcategory pages, product descriptions and blog posts, among other structures;
• Optimize on-page content in accordance with SEO best practices, including meta tags, heading tags and alt text;
• Develop competitor analyses, content gap analyses, content pruning and E-E-A-T assessments, driving topical authority strategies;
• Monitor search trends and trending topics to guide content opportunities;
• Demonstrate mastery of SEO metrics, measuring results and impacts of implemented actions;
• Serve as a content reference for clients and internal teams, supporting mentorship of content analysts;
• Share knowledge and expand the team's repository of references.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising or other Communication fields;
• Solid, proven experience in SEO with a focus on content, strategy and authority;
• Excellent writing skills and strong knowledge of web writing, spelling and grammar are essential;
