Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and leading a high-performing sales team.

  1. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Marketing, implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your area of responsibility.
  2. Manage and maintain strong relationships with all travel trade key accounts and business partners of MH&R and the hotel.
  3. Generate and maintain customers in the travel trade segment through various sales activities such as face-to-face calls, telephone calls, and entertainment.
  4. Maintain high visibility for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communications.
  5. Ensure comprehensive coverage of your portfolio, managing all departments and accounts to achieve targets and maximize productivity.
  6. Provide sincere, warm, and enthusiastic service to ensure guest and colleague satisfaction at all times.
  7. Familiarize yourself with all guests and colleagues, and commit to service excellence.
  8. Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and high social skills.
  9. Foster good inter-departmental relations.
  10. Maintain a pleasant manner and positive attitude, promoting a good company image.
  11. Show pride in your workplace and personal appearance when representing the hotel, demonstrating high commitment.
  12. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards guests, clients, staff, and employees.
  13. Maintain professional confidentiality.
  14. Adhere to company and hotel rules and regulations at all times.
  15. Be flexible to adapt to increased working hours as business needs require.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in sales management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
