Sales at TRACTIAN

The Sales team is the driving factor behind revenue at Tractian. We focus on generating new opportunities, acquiring new customers, and building even stronger relationships with our current accounts. Our Enterprise customers are comprised of Fortune 500 companies, such as Hyundai, Bosch, Unilever, P&G, PepsiCo, and others. Tractian's Net Revenue Retention (NRR) is as high as Silicon Valley startups like Snowflake (158%) and Twilio (155%), highlighting the stickiness of our products. We ensure top performers are recognized and exceed their quotas.

What you'll do

As a Sales Engineer for Energy Trac at Tractian, your main goal will be to drive sales of our innovative energy monitoring solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise in energy management and IoT to engage clients, demonstrate Energy Trac’s capabilities, and facilitate the entire sales process. Managing client relationships through HubSpot CRM and ensuring our solutions meet their energy efficiency and management needs will be critical.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with clients in the energy sector, offering tailored Energy Trac solutions.
  • Perform detailed product demonstrations, emphasizing Energy Trac’s technical features and benefits.
  • Manage sales activities and client interactions using HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to customize products for specific client needs.
  • Stay informed about energy management trends and technological innovations.
  • Provide technical insights during sales negotiations and client inquiries.
  • Gather and relay client feedback for product improvements and market strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in energy management or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of energy monitoring technologies and IoT solutions.
  • Proven success in meeting sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM for sales tracking and management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and product demos.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with asset monitoring and maintenance technologies.
  • Advanced technical or sales certifications.
  • Fluent in English.
