Visa, a global leader in payments, seeks a pricing and economic analysis professional in São Paulo to lead strategic pricing initiatives and build robust financial models leveraging VisaNet data.

You will drive cross‑functional programs, forecast impacts of pricing changes, and develop business cases for new products and merchant segments, partnering with senior leaders across the organization.

Qualificações

• 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or PhD degree
• MBA or relevant graduate degree in finance or economics, or similar academic/professional experience preferred
• 3-5+ years total experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, pricing, banking or finance
• Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry preferred
• Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize deliverables to meet timelines efficiently
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities
• Ability to participate in complex cross-enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and attention to detail
• Ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial models
• Experience with economic theories, scenario analysis and competitive assessments
• Knowledge of payments industry revenue drivers a plus
• Ability to communicate compelling messages clearly to senior managers and external business partners
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent presentation, oral and writing capabilities
• Bilingual English/Portuguese required

Responsabilidades

• Manage cross-functional initiatives supporting the economic model underlying Visa’s products, services and global payments processing network
• Collaborate across Visa’s business on pricing change opportunities, including forecasting, business case design, stakeholder impact assessment and partner communications
• Support country strategies focused on pricing and interchange rate development for existing and new products, merchant segments and channels
• Query large databases to evaluate pricing and interchange opportunities
• Build financial cost-benefit analyses and models using VisaNet data to determine impacts on issuers, acquirers, merchants and Visa
• Develop quantitative analyses and recommendations ensuring strategic and financial soundness
• Develop executive-level communications and generate support among business leaders
• Support publication of Visa pricing and interchange rate changes
• Provide client-facing staff with pricing and interchange rates and qualification criteria, and handle ad hoc questions and analyses
• Interface with the global systems group on pricing and interchange business requirements and track systems development
• Work with Global Interchange Compliance to ensure clients qualify for correct interchange rates
• Develop and update reports and dashboards evaluating rate performance and business indicators
