Role Overview

As a Payments and Fraud Analyst, you will monitor and analyze transactions related to payments, detect fraudulent activities, and ensure the integrity and security of financial transactions. Your role is vital in maintaining operational trustworthiness and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and analyze payment transactions to identify potential fraud.
2. Report and analyze payment and fraud-related issues.
3. Use fraud detection tools to identify suspicious patterns and escalate incidents.
4. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Manage payment processing, reconciliation, and compliance.
6. Investigate discrepancies, chargebacks, and disputes, collaborating with relevant teams.
7. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
8. Work with Customer Service to resolve payment issues promptly.
9. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
10. Monitor system and automation performance.
11. Collaborate with external providers and financial institutions to optimize processes.
12. Partner with Technology teams for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Minimum one year of experience in the betting industry.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and KYC principles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in payment processing or fraud detection, preferably in online gaming/betting.
• Good understanding of sportsbook & casino products.
