Latitude.sh, recently acquired by Megaport, is building AI-ready infrastructure and empowering high-performance network services across global bare metal platforms. We seek a network-focused engineer to own day-to-day operations and drive reliability in a fast-paced, autonomous team.

You’ll troubleshoot medium to high-complexity incidents, perform RCA, plan expansions, maintain documentation, and tune monitoring to ensure SLA adherence. Ownership and urgency define our culture.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, maintain, and improve the network, including edge routers, core switches, and firewalls.
• Actively troubleshoot and resolve medium and high-complexity network incidents, including interactions with transit providers and data center partners.
• Provide L1/L2 network support to customers and internal teams, ensuring timely responses and SLA adherence.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
• Plan and support network expansions, topology changes, and capacity improvements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, procedures, and incident records.
• Manage and improve network monitoring systems, including alerts, graphs, and thresholds.
• Act with ownership and urgency, especially during off-hours and critical incidents.

What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Quest Log)

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the logical data and security network, including edge routers, core switches, and firewalls;
• Actively troubleshoot and resolve medium and high-complexity network incidents, including interaction with transit providers, IXs, and data center partners when required;
• Provide L1/L2 (and partial L3) network support to customers and internal teams, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and SLA adherence;
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence of incidents;
• Plan and support network expansions, topology changes, and capacity improvements;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, procedures, and incident records;
• Manage and improve network monitoring systems, including creation and tuning of alerts, graphs, and thresholds;
• Act with a strong sense of ownership and urgency, especially during off-hours and critical incidents.
