GEA is seeking a senior QHSE leader to drive the implementation and governance of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment systems across Brazil and neighboring regions. You will coordinate audits, regulatory compliance, training, and incident investigations while aligning sites with ISO standards and corporate QHSE requirements.

Expect to lead regional teams, manage resources, and push continuous improvement in safety culture, process excellence, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Integrated Management Systems, or Safety Engineering is highly desirable.
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is required/preferred.
• NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent OHS qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in quality and HSE system regulations and international norms.
• Management of people and specialized teams in HSE and Quality.
• Experience with implementation of corporate quality and HSE management systems.
• Profound resource management and project management skills.
• Experience in delivering HSE related training.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of auditing techniques and ISO management systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead the implementation and governance of QHSE systems across Brazil and Southern Cone.
• Act as the regional QHSE lead for sales, service, repair, logistics, warehouse, projects and facilities.
• Define, coordinate and monitor QHSE audits, inspections and legal compliance programs.
• Lead the Integrated Management System for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Manage regional QHSE resources, training programs, risk registers and reporting.
• Oversee incident, accident and near-miss management and investigations.
• Drive regional standardization and alignment among QHSE teams in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
• Manage QA processes for projects, suppliers, service providers and operations.
• Lead QHSE improvement initiatives focused on safety culture and performance indicators.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Lead the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of Quality and HSE Management Systems across Brazil and Southern Cone, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements, ISO standards and GEA Group Q&HSE requirements.
• Act as the regional QHSE lead for sales, service, repair, logistics, warehouse, projects and associated facilities, ensuring consistent standards, risk control and operational compliance across the organization.
• Define, coordinate and monitor QHSE audit, inspection and legal compliance programs, driving corrective actions, risk mitigation and continual improvement.
• Lead the Integrated Management System for regional sites, ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Manage regional QHSE resources, mandatory HSE training programs, risk registers, procedures and reporting routines in alignment with corporate governance and business priorities.
• Oversee incident, accident and near-miss management processes, including investigations, lessons learned and compliance with notification process.
• Drive regional standardization, collaboration and alignment among QHSE teams in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, ensuring consistent application of Quality and HSE standards.
• Manage Quality assurance processes for projects, suppliers, service providers, resellers and GEA operations, including inspections, audits and process performance monitoring.
• Lead QHSE improvement initiatives focused on safety culture, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and performance indicators.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field.
• Postgraduate qualification or specialization in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Integrated Management Systems, or Safety Engineering is highly desirable.
• Formal training or certification as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor is required/preferred.
• NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent internationally recognized Occupational Health and Safety qualification is considered an advantage.
• Experience in quality and HSE system regulations and international norms.
• Management of people and specialized teams - Engineers, technicians, analysts and specialists in HSE and Quality.
• Experience with implementation of corporate quality and HSE management systems
