Senior Manager of Commercialization & Business Development
We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to drive the commercialization of autonomous driving solutions for logistics and fleets in Latin America, with a primary focus on Brazil. This role will spearhead partnerships with OEMs, logistics providers, and key ecosystem players to pilot and scale innovative mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics/fleet customer needs, including cost sensitivity, operational pain points, and adoption readiness for autonomous technologies. Validate market demand and quantify business potential for autonomous trucking solutions.
- OEM & Ecosystem Partnerships: Develop and execute strategies to engage truck OEMs, support their autonomous product roadmaps, and strengthen existing OEM partnerships through successful project execution. Build alliances with key ecosystem partners including suppliers and technology providers.
- Coordinate pilot projects with logistics companies and OEMs to validate technology adaptability and commercial viability. Secure pre-development (PoC) and serial production projects within OEM supply chains.
- Business in Logistics Sector: Design tailored partnership models for cargo owners and fleets. Explore additional pilot customers in logistics sectors. Lead negotiations and finalize contracts for long-term collaborations.
- Policy & Market Entry: Monitor autonomous driving regulations in Latin America and advise on compliant market-entry strategies. Engage governments and industry bodies to align policies with commercialization goals.
- Brand & Channel Expansion: Develop marketing strategies to position the company as a leader in autonomous logistics. Establish sales channels for future product distribution.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 7+ years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in automotive, logistics, or mobility tech. Proven track record of scaling B2B solutions and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Skills: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills in English and Portuguese (Spanish is a plus). Familiarity with autonomous driving policies and certification processes.
