BEES, AB InBev's B2B platform, is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java services in a distributed cloud environment. You will work in an agile team, shaping the evolution of microservices and RESTful APIs to support retailers and merchants across multiple countries.

We value strong fundamentals, Spring Boot expertise, and a proactive approach to testing, automation, and observability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Strong backend development experience with Java.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience developing and scaling high-throughput and distributed applications.
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic or Datadog.
• Experience with DevOps and cloud-native tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Strong fundamentals in OO design, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Boot, Security, MVC).
• Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture.
• Experience with unit/integration/testing concepts.
• Intermediate English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

What you will do

We are looking for people with:

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields;
• Solid backend development experience with Java;
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Experience developing and scaling high-throughput and distributed applications;
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or similar platforms;
• Experience with DevOps and cloud-native tools such such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or similar technologies;
• Experience working in Agile environments;
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving;
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring MVC;
• Knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, and development best practices;
• Experience with software testing concepts, including unit, integration, regression, stress, and test automation;
• Intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken.
