Jobtailor is seeking a senior Java backend engineer to develop, maintain and optimize highly scalable microservices on AWS and on-prem environments. You will diagnose Level 2/3 incidents, ensure seamless Payware integrations, and document complex flows and business rules.

The role emphasizes architectural improvements, security compliance (PCI-DSS) and mentoring junior engineers within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) team.

Qualificações

Strong experience in Java development (version 11 or higher).
Proficiency in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring Data).
Experience with microservices architecture.

Responsabilidades

Develop, maintain and enhance high-performance microservices.
Work on resolving Level 2 and Level 3 incidents, performing complex diagnostics involving code, cloud infrastructure and acquiring business rules.
Ensure the integrity of integrations between Payware platforms and the company's other systems.
Propose continuous architectural improvements to reduce incidents, increase scalability and optimize performance in AWS and on-premises environments.
Document technical flows, integrations and business rules, promoting knowledge sharing across the team.
Provide technical support and mentorship to less experienced colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Strong experience in Java development (version 11 or higher).
Proficiency in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring Data).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Solid knowledge of acquiring and payments, including:
Transactional flow (authorization, capture and reversal);
ISO 8583 messaging.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
EC2;
Lambda;
SQS;
RDS;
CloudWatch.
Advanced knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
Experience with Payware Acquirer.
Knowledge of Payware Issuer.
Understanding of information security and compliance with PCI-DSS.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (APM), such as New Relic, Datadog or Dynatrace.
Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

Core Competencies

Demonstrates strong expertise in Java Development and the Spring Ecosystem, with a focus on Microservices Architecture and AWS Services. Capable of providing technical mentorship while ensuring compliance with information security standards such as PCI-DSS.
