EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate scalable infrastructure across on-prem data centers and GCP/AWS. You will own automation, mentor engineers, and set technical direction for a globally distributed operations team.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering with production ownership
• Remote management of physical hardware at hosting facilities
• Deep Linux administration (Red Hat or Debian) at scale
• Core networking experience (Cisco, DNS, load balancing, traffic management)
• Experience with storage and backup systems
• Proven automation with Ansible, Puppet, or similar
• Proficiency in Python for tooling and automation
• GCP production experience (Compute Engine, networking, IAM)
• Ability to lead infrastructure projects and mentor engineers
• Excellent English proficiency (B2 or higher)

Responsabilidades

• Design and operate large-scale, multi data center infrastructure across on-prem, GCP and AWS
• Lead automation of infrastructure deployment and configuration management (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
• Design and maintain traffic management, load balancing, and DNS systems at scale
• Build and operate monitoring and observability across on-prem and cloud
• Develop tooling to support distributed, auditable systems administration
• Write and maintain process, policy, and procedural documentation for the infra organization

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate infrastructure across our on-prem data centers and GCP environments. This role suits an engineer who came up through hands-on operations (racking hardware, running networks, bare metal OS installs, keeping systems online at 2am) and has since built deep expertise in automation, infrastructure as code, and public cloud.
