EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to architect and roll out multi-cloud Kubernetes environments across AWS and Azure. You will drive GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, manage IaC with Terraform and Helm, and oversee security, monitoring, and incident responses.

Collaboration with global teams is essential to optimize deployments and efficiency. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on engineering leadership, strong Kubernetes expertise, and experience with AWS and Azure cloud

Qualificações

• 5+ years of practical, applicable experience in a comparable engineering position.
• Experience directing and overseeing teams.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Argo Rollouts).
• IaC with Terraform, Helm, and Helmfile.
• Monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Pyroscope.
• Security tooling such as cert-manager, External Secrets, Kyverno, Calico.
• Storage technologies including EBS CSI, EFS CSI, S3 CSI.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, roll out, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters (EKS on AWS, AKS on Azure).
• Establish GitOps workflows with ArgoCD to automate deployments and config management.
• Build and maintain IaC frameworks (Terraform) and Helm-based Kubernetes apps.
• Monitor cluster health with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch; implement alerts and incident response.
• Oversee operators for Argo Workflows, Argo Rollouts, cert-manager, autoscaling, and CSI drivers.
• Enforce security: network policies, secrets management, RBAC, and related practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resource efficiency.
• Create documentation for architecture, runbooks, and standard procedures.
