Job summary

Casado seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale GraphQL-based platforms, APIs, and data systems. You will build scalable data pipelines, integrate diverse data stores, and ensure robust, observable systems in a distributed cloud environment.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL Federation experience, plus strong data engineering foundations and proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases. Collaboration in an Agile setting is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Systems
• Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, APIs, and distributed cloud systems
• Strong background with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with high-volume distributed systems and data modeling
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, GitOps, and observability practices

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data layers
