Job summary

Wiley is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Assessments team. You will craft engaging, accessible learning experiences with a strong focus on front-end quality and performance.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful features for learners worldwide, leveraging AI-assisted tooling and modern CI/CD practices in a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/SE/IT.
• Advanced proficiency building modern web apps with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• 2+ years back-end experience with .NET/C# or similar server-side tech.
• Experience with cloud and container tech (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational or document DBs (MySQL, MongoDB).
• 1+ year DevOps practices: deployment automation, monitoring, infra support.
• Proficient with GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud-based architectures.
• Strong focus on code quality: tests, reviews, standards.
• Familiar with AI-assisted dev tools to boost productivity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in English.

In this role, you will help build engaging, accessible, and scalable digital learning and assessment experiences that support learners around the world and turn complex problems into intuitive solutions. You will work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality features that improve the learner and customer experience. This role reports to an Engineering Manager within the Assessments Technology organization.
