- Analyze the current architecture in AngularJS (1.x) to identify critical dependencies and breaking points prior to migration.
- Execute the gradual migration of legacy components to newer versions of Angular, ensuring feature parity.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs using Node.js to support new interfaces.
- Implement integration with AWS services such as S3 and Lambda to optimize application performance.
- Create unit and integration tests to prevent regressions during version upgrades.
- Mentor less experienced developers on Clean Code and design patterns in modern Angular.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in AngularJS (1.x) and in the architectural changes required to migrate to modern Angular, from v1 to v17+.
- Experience building robust, scalable APIs with Node.js.
- Knowledge of and experience consuming AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with CloudFront and S3 for front-end deployment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with automated migration tools or legacy code refactoring tools is a plus.
- Experience with micro-frontends to decompose an Angular 1 monolith is a plus.
