EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer in Brazil to maintain and modernize enterprise Gateway applications. This backend-focused role also contributes to multiple Angular frontends across legacy and modern frameworks.

You will refactor, upgrade dependencies, remediate vulnerabilities, and drive continuous modernization while collaborating with global teams and security partners. English proficiency is required.

Qualificações

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and maintaining Angular applications, with Angular 8+ preferred.
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and REST APIs.
• Experience with enterprise applications and maintaining existing codebases.
• Familiarity with application modernization, dependency upgrades, and framework migrations.
• Experience addressing security vulnerabilities and code quality findings using tools such as Veracode, CAST, SonarQube, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive ownership mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic enterprise environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
• Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher).

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer with strong backend expertise and working knowledge of Angular to support the ongoing maintenance and modernization of enterprise Gateway applications. The role is primarily backend-focused while contributing to multiple Angular frontends spanning legacy and modern frameworks. The ideal candidate enjoys improving existing applications through refactoring, dependency upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and continuous modernization rather than greenfield development.

Responsibilities
