MAVI is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own the close and core financial reporting for a high-growth US consumer brand. You will turn numbers into planning, working remotely from Brazil, and partner with US finance leaders. The role emphasizes judgment and accuracy in a growing ecommerce environment.

Competenze

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own the close and core financial reporting of a high-growth US consumer brand selling across ecommerce and marketplace channels, and to turn its numbers into planning and decisions, working remotely from Brazil.

What You'll Own

Accounting and the Close

• The close. Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including the calendar and quality of output.
• Financial statements. Prepare the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement under US GAAP, and explain the movements behind them.
• Controls and audit. Maintain close checklists and approval workflows, and prepare PBC schedules for the annual audit or review.

Planning and Analysis

• Budget and forecast. Build and maintain the budget and a rolling forecast, tied directly to the actuals you close.
• Management reporting. Deliver a monthly package with budget-versus-actual analysis, KPIs, and clear commentary.
• Cash and partnership. Maintain the cash forecast and help department heads understand their spend and hiring plans.

CPG and Ecommerce

• Sales and payouts. Reconcile sales and payouts from Shopify, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and other storefronts to the general ledger, using tools such as A2X.
• Inventory. Maintain inventory roll-forwards and reconcile inventory systems (such as Cin7, Finale Inventory, or Fishbowl) and 3PL reports to the general ledger.
• Margin analysis. Build gross margin analysis by channel and SKU to inform pricing, promotions, and forecasts.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, with accounting as the primary foundation
• Experience in accounting for CPG, ecommerce, or retail businesses, including multichannel sales reconciliation and inventory
• Hands-on ownership of the month-end close
• US GAAP, CPC, or IFRS experience, with substantial exposure to clients or entities in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia
• Experience building budgets, forecasts, or budget-versus-actual reporting
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with a major ERP or accounting system, such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or Xero
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification

Preferred

• Experience using AI tools in accounting workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output
• Experience supporting an audit or review
• Experience with planning tools such as Adaptive, Pigment, or Mosaic
• Experience with DTC, wholesale, or retail channel planning
• Experience at a venture-backed or PE-backed company

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
