Senior Backend Developer – Celergo Team

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who is empathetic to client needs, inspired by transformation, and ready to impact millions of lives every day. This role is for someone who thrives in a dynamic, inclusive team environment and embraces collaboration and belonging.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will design and implement backend solutions, collaborate across teams, solve business problems, and mentor junior developers. You’ll participate in an Agile environment with continuous development, deployment, and testing of application software.

What you’ll do

• Kick off each day with a scrum to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities.
• Work in two‑week sprints, maintain coding standards, and deliver features on time.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and customers to understand requirements and produce collaborative outputs.
• Learn from open‑source communities and prioritize asking the right questions over knowing every answer.
• Leverage strong skill sets gained and developed in similar roles.

To succeed in this role

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
