Senior Designer - Colour, Material and Finishes - CMF

Create Meaningful Experiences through Colour, Material, and Finishes

As a member of our Taste Design Team, you will contribute to our bigger goal of making a positive impact on people's everyday lives. We are part of a global design team of over 200 designers located in 5 different locations, working to shape Company's design future.

Based in Curitiba, Brazil, you will be an integral member of the CompanyDesign team, collaborating with our global CMF teams located at our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as in our other design studios. While teamwork and alignment towards shared goals are essential, you will also have the autonomy to work independently and contribute to evolving the CMF expression within the Taste Design team.

In This Role

As our Senior CMF Designer, you will inspire creativity, lead innovation, and develop world-class CMF designs for current and future appliances within the Taste product line—which includes Food Preparation and Food Preservation. You will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring that every design tells a compelling story that resonates with both internal and external stakeholders. In doing so, you will contribute to launching multiple products to market while keeping a keen awareness of the broader business context. Your time will be balanced between independent project delivery and collaborative efforts to continuously enhance our CMF expression and execution.

Your Main Tasks:

• Manage CMF Deliverables: Oversee all CMF deliverables across multiple product development projects.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CMF design team to develop and implement a CMF strategy for specific brands or categories.
• Develop CMF Palettes: Contribute to the creation of tailored CMF palettes for designated brands or categories.
• Drive CMF Development: Champion innovation and sustainability in Design.
• Supplier Partnership: Collaborate with selected suppliers to ensure seamless implementation of the CMF strategy.
• Guidelines & Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive guidelines and templates for CMF, texture, and graphic specifications to ensure consistent and efficient project execution.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial Design or other relevant design field.
• 5+ years professional CMF experience, preferably from an industry-leading corporation.
• Solid knowledge in manufacturing processes and keen interest to learn.
• Solid visualisation skills. Fluent in relevant 2D and 3D software (Adobe Creative suite, Keyshot etc).
• Familiarity in CMF Measurements & Quality Process Proficiency.
• Strong creative influencing and self-leadership skills.
• Strong drive, curiosity, learning ability, and teamwork.
• Required languages: Fluent English written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel and represent the Design Team at manufacturing sites.
