Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement data solutions with stakeholders
2. Maintain and optimize data systems for quality, performance, and scalability
3. Identify and resolve data quality, processing, and integration issues
4. Support data-related incidents and issues
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for customer-centric solutions
6. Establish data management best practices and standards
7. Create and maintain technical documentation
8. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
9. Lead and mentor team members
10. Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards
11. Stay updated on emerging data technologies and trends

Requirements

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Software Engineering
2. Expertise in PySpark for data processing
3. Experience with Azure Data Factory for data pipelines
4. Advanced SQL skills for database management
5. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation
6. Experience with cloud tools like Azure Data Lake and Data API
7. Knowledge of Spark, Scala, Kafka for distributed computing
8. Experience with Databricks
9. Experience with EDL changes in DB Views/Stored procedures
10. Data analysis and troubleshooting skills
11. Ability to support integration testing
12. Planning and implementing new data requirements
13. Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms
