We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience in developing maintainable and supportable commercial-grade software. The ideal candidate will have extensive API and system integration experience, thrive in a dynamic startup environment, and possess strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Founded in 2003, our client transforms traditional restaurant POS terminals into comprehensive operational management systems. Their solutions enhance customer loyalty, optimize operations to reduce costs, and boost sales through analytics and employee insights. Currently, over 7,000 restaurant locations utilize their technology, processing over $5 billion annually.

You will collaborate with senior engineers across the Americas, owning features from conception to deployment and adoption. If you enjoy delivering practical solutions rapidly and iterating in production, you'll find our pace engaging.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle development and maintenance of commercial software—analyzing requirements, designing, developing, and supporting solutions
• Collaborate with teams to produce high-quality code following best practices for new features and legacy system maintenance
• Support and refactor legacy code using modern methodologies
• Analyze code to identify root causes of defects and resolve issues
• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment across environments
• Participate in daily standups and team meetings to review priorities and innovations
• Address defects during testing cycles
• Conduct thorough peer reviews

Required Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience with C# / .NET in building production systems and integrations
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of articulating tradeoffs
• Proficiency with Git and modern branching/PR workflows
• Ability to quickly learn new libraries or APIs (within hours)
• Ownership mentality: design, build, ship, monitor, and fix features
• Bias for shipping functional code over perfection
• Comfort working across UI, API, data, and infrastructure layers
• Team-oriented: transparent, reliable, and customer-focused

Desired Experience

• Technical or engineering degree preferred
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Octopus, or Datadog
• Familiarity with Postman
