Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a senior Data Scientist to drive analytics strategy and deliver actionable insights. You will prepare datasets, build predictive models, and communicate business impact to leadership.

You will lead projects spanning multiple products, collaborating across teams to implement AI-driven solutions and governance of data platforms. A strong CS foundation and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 57 years of experience in a related analytical role.
• Proven track record designing and developing predictive models for real-world applications.
• Experience evaluating model performance and optimizing predictive models for accuracy and efficiency.
• Cloud certification highly preferred.
• Additional role-based certifications may be required depending on regional or business-unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply combined knowledge of data structures analytics algorithms/models and strong CS fundamentals to independently prepare datasets, conduct analyses and develop deployable solutions.
• Collect, analyze and interpret large data assets to define and build components of innovative solutions leveraging technical and business expertise.
• Lead development efforts or projects involving multiple products leveraging technical and business expertise.
• Work on highly complex problems spanning multiple business or analytical domains, collaborating with other teams to develop predictive models, risk assessments, fraud detection solutions and other enhanced solutions.
• Aggregate, summarize, visualize and build narratives around analytical findings and results for management and business users.
• Communicate results to external stakeholders and midlevel leadership clearly articulating the business impact of the work.
• Evaluate the technical work of junior Data Scientists and peers, providing guidance regarding the quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Function Data Analytics.
• Responsibilities include designing, managing and delivering insights and analytical solutions through data analytics and data science. Primary activities include providing technical and strategic business expertise and ensuring proper governance of data sources, models, attributes and analytical platforms.

Experience

• Cloud certification highly preferred
• Additional rolebased certifications may be required depending on regional or businessunit requirements
