Job summary

Infosys Brazil is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Tech Lead to drive data and analytics initiatives across global teams. You will shape data engineering solutions, oversee ETL/ELT processes, and ensure robust data governance and security.

Responsibilities include translating business needs into scalable technical requirements, mentoring engineers, and guiding delivery with DevOps/DataOps practices. Hybrid work model and international collaboration are available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Data Engineering, including ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.
• Experience with Power BI and analytical data modeling.
• Knowledge of systems integration and APIs.
• Experience with DevOps and DataOps practices.
• Strong background in technical leadership and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English for interaction with global teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of data and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture, integration, security, and data standards.
• Translate business needs into clear and scalable technical requirements.
• Guide Data Engineers, BI Developers, and other technical resources within the team.
• Manage technical priorities, platform improvements, and technical debt.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and governance across solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Architects, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support technical decision-making, risk assessment, and solution design.
• Ensure that solutions deliver business value while remaining scalable and sustainable.
