Jobtailor in Sao Paulo is seeking an experienced Costing and Inventory Accountant to lead monthly closings, cost analyses and inventory controls across raw materials, WIP and finished goods. You will develop KPIs and automated reports, coordinate with Tax, Accounting, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure accurate COGS, absorption costing and compliance with Brazilian tax rules.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Experience with industrial costing and inventory controllership.
• Knowledge of costing methods (absorption costing, variable costing, ABC costing).
• Experience with Protheus ERP, especially the SIGAEST, SIGACTB, SIGACOM, SIGAFAT and SIGACST modules.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to present analyses and reports to senior management.

Responsabilidades

• Perform monthly cost and inventory closings.
• Execute accounting reconciliations for inventory, WIP, finished goods and COGS.
• Determine average costs and absorption costing.
• Prepare margin, profitability and cost-variance analyses.
• Manage inventories and perform related adjustments.
• Monitor third-party/outsourced manufacturing processes.
• Control and track Production Orders.
• Review fiscal and accounting configurations in the ERP.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop KPIs, reports and automations to support management.
• Work in partnership with Tax, Accounting, Manufacturing/Industrial, Supply Chain and Controllership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree: preferably in Accounting or a related field.


• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal and tax legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply them in practice.


• Experience with industrial costing and inventory controllership;


• Knowledge of costing methods (absorption costing, variable costing, ABC costing, etc.).


• Control of inventory-related costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average cost).


• Experience with Protheus ERP, especially the SIGAEST, SIGACTB, SIGACOM, SIGAFAT and SIGACST modules;


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.


• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Good written and verbal communication skills to present analyses and reports to senior management.
