Jobtailor in Natal, Brazil is seeking an accounting intern to support account analysis, reconciliation, and financial reporting. You will classify expenses, manage inventory controls for multiple branches, and assist with month-end close activities to ensure accurate records.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (from the 5th semester), some accounting experience, and strong Microsoft Office (Excel) skills.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in account analysis and reconciliation tasks, verifying reported balances, identifying and correcting discrepancies to ensure accurate accounting balances.
• Classify and assess expenses by examining their nature to allocate costs of goods sold and post the appropriate accounting entries.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory control for each branch, providing information and generating various management reports.
• Perform inventory adjustments at the end of each month, reconciling physical vs. book inventory balances for the locations.
• Analyze the behavior of income statement accounts: cost of goods sold.
• Analyze the behavior of balance sheet accounts related to inventory: assets and liabilities.
• Provide technical support on accounting classification and cost center allocation.
• Prepare and distribute reports to related departments.
• Stay updated on international accounting standards and changes affecting accounting.
• File and maintain documentation under your responsibility in accordance with Company policies.
• Comply with Company policies and procedures, proposing and implementing improvements, and taking responsibility for the quality, timeliness, reliability and performance of services and information produced.
• Control the dispatch of documents for archiving;
• Provide necessary support for inspections and audits;
• Provide technical and theoretical support regarding accounting classification and procedures;
• Study topics related to Accounting and related areas;
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation;
