OKX in Brazil is seeking a senior compliance analyst to join the Brazilian Compliance Team. You will advise on regulatory obligations, KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD and AML/FT for the local crypto market under Central Bank rules.

You will shape local policies and monitor risk in a fast-paced fintech environment. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, Portuguese and English fluency, and experience guiding Product, Engineering and Operations on compliance matters.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced compliance certifications are a plus (PQO-Compliance, ACAMS, ICA, etc.)
• Proven AML/FT & Sanctions experience in finance, fintech, or crypto
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank of Brazil regulations and compliance challenges
• Experience leading KYC/KYB and CDD/EDD initiatives
• Analytical and due-diligence skills; interpret complex regulations
• Excellent Portuguese and English communication
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Monitor transactions and perform financial crime investigations

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a senior compliance analyst to join our dynamic Brazilian Compliance Team. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise our local business on the company's regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD and AML/FT and Sanctions' regulations, particularly within the Brazilian crypto market and the new Central Bank of Brazil regulatory framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Draft, maintain and advise on local compliance policies and procedures in accordance with local Brazilian regulations
• Review escalations from KYC/KYB and CDD/EDD Teams related to customers' onboarding processes and ongoing transaction monitoring
• Monitor transactions and general customer's activities for potential suspicious behaviour and perform financial crime investigations and reporting when necessary
• Assist Central Compliance in the strategic design, implementation and oversight of the Global Compliance Program
• Provide timely guidance to stakeholders such as Product, Engineering and Operations' Teams and act as a point of escalation for complex local compliance issues
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and create reports for management to evaluate the effectiveness of the local compliance programs
• Identify and assess process gaps, improve reporting capabilities, and recommend corrective actions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Stay current with global, regional and jurisdictional emerging trends and regulatory developments in the crypto industry

What We Look For In You

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees or certifications in compliance are a plus (PQO-Compliance, ACAMS, ICA, etc.)
• Proven experience in AML/FT & Sanctions in compliance roles within traditional financial services, fintech companies or crypto exchanges
• Strong understanding of the Central Bank of Brazil regulatory requirements and compliance challenges with a special emphasis on financial crime prevention
• Experience overseeing processes, leading KYC/KYB and CDD/EDD initiatives and conducting investigations
• Excellent analytical, research and due diligence skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, both oral and written, in Portuguese and English
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
• Solid understanding of the crypto industry and familiarity with global work environments
