Position Overview

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with Golang experience. This remote role involves managing our backend platform, API integrations with third-party vendors, and building scalable, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

1. Translate product requirements into technical solutions and lead engineering efforts.
2. Design and implement distributed microservices architecture.
3. Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors and APIs.
4. Develop highly available RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
5. Create reusable code and libraries to foster collaboration and scalability.
6. Ensure observability with logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
7. Maintain detailed technical documentation.
8. Monitor systems for performance and scalability improvements.
9. Collaborate across teams to align priorities and requirements.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of software development experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3. Proficiency in Golang, Java, Python, or C++.
4. Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
5. Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes.
7. Experience with message queuing systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Flink.
8. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
9. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
