Position Overview

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with Golang experience. This remote position involves managing various areas of our backend platform, including API integrations with third-party vendors and partners.

Responsibilities

1. Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts to meet targets.
2. Design and implement reliable systems within a distributed microservices architecture.
3. Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors and partners.
4. Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
5. Create reusable code and libraries to promote collaboration and scalability.
6. Enforce observability best practices using logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
7. Create detailed technical documentation for solutions, APIs, workflows, and system configurations.
8. Monitor systems for performance and scalability improvements.
9. Collaborate effectively across teams to align priorities and requirements.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of software development experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3. Proficiency in back-end languages such as Go/Golang, Java, Python, C++.
4. Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
5. Experience building reliable, scalable distributed systems and microservices.
6. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
7. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
8. Experience with message queuing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
9. Effective project ownership and agile methodologies experience.
