Position Overview

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with Golang experience. This remote position involves managing various backend platform areas, including API integrations with third-party vendors and partners. You will work with our international teams to develop a robust digital wallet, enabling seamless transactions and employer linking.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts.
• Design and implement reliable systems within a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors.
• Design and implement highly available RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Create reusable code and libraries to promote scalability and collaboration.
• Enforce observability practices using logging, metrics, and alerting tools.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Monitor systems for performance and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure seamless development processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of message queuing systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Flink.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
