Job Description: Senior Backend Developer

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (LATAM) to join Wizdaa. If you:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience with Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js
• Experience with high-scale backend environments
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases
• Ability to develop and maintain backend and API code
• Skill in data integration and managing complex data relationships
• Expertise in MongoDB and/or MySQL, including database design and optimization
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

• TypeScript expertise
• Database infrastructure setup and optimization experience
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Knowledge of automated testing, unit testing, and end-to-end testing
• Commitment to clean, well-documented, maintainable code

Additional Information:

• This is a fully remote position
• Compensation in USD
