Goodyear is seeking an IT professional to maintain, modify and support sub-systems and third-party components within a large Goodyear system. You will complete unit testing, troubleshoot problems, and develop robust solutions while ensuring data integrity and system stability.

The role requires a MIS/CS/Engineering-degree and 3+ years in IT, with knowledge of PHP, PL/SQL, SQL, ActiveMq/Camel, C, Linux, C# .NET, containers and build pipelines.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, Eng, Tech, Business or related discipline.
• 3+ years IT experience or graduate of IT Development 2-Year Program with 1 year outside work experience.
• Basic knowledge of the Office Product Suite.
• Understanding of the Business Process Area supported.
• Interest in Goodyear manufacturing IT technology (PHP, PL/SQL, SQL, ActiveMq/Camel, C, Linux, C# .NET, containers, version control, Ansible, shell scripting, build pipelines, Nexus).

What You’ll Do:Maintain, modify and support sub-system or 3rd party components (programs, processes, configuration); all the while working within a larger system scope.Complete unit testing of all work processes.Troubleshoot and investigate. Develop solutions to problems involving causes that are not obvious. Respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors that do not have a known cause. Perform tasks necessary to ensure data integrity and system stability.Write and maintain all documentation supporting primary area of responsibility.Apply knowledge of current technologies and methodologies with business subject matter to develop technical solutions. Confer with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the situation requiring intervention. Translate process into practice through the current Information Technology toolsets.Obtain advice from higher-level Information Technology associates when precedents are unclear.Expand use of current information technologies, techniques and processes as they apply to Goodyear.
