Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 7–8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Batch, SQL, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps and structured SDLC environments.

Goodyear is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and support enterprise CAD/PLM applications used by engineering and manufacturing teams globally. The role works within a cross-functional software development team to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business and IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD/PLM applications using C#, VB.NET, .NET, SQL, web technologies, and scripting.
• Integrate CAD applications with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application, database, and integration issues.
• Follow SDLC, Agile/DevOps, testing, CI/CD, and production support practices.
• Support deployments, documentation, system stability, and technical improvements.
• Collaborate with global engineering, IT, architecture, and business teams.
• Mentor junior developers and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 7–8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Batch, SQL, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps and structured SDLC environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM platforms such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM, including integrations, installations, upgrades, and Microservices.
• Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC).
• Experience developing AI-assisted development solutions using LLMs, RAG, agents, MCPs, or tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting, architecture, automation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Manufacturing/engineering environment experience is a plus.
