You will work within a cross-functional team deploying enterprise CAD applications using .NET, SQL, and modern web technologies, with emphasis on SDLC, testing, and CI/CD. Collaborative culture with global stakeholders and ongoing modernization efforts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7–8 years of application development using C#, VB.NET, SQL and related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with CAD/PLM systems such as CATIA V5, Siemens NX, or Teamcenter.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile/DevOps delivery models.

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber company is seeking a motivated individual to design, develop, and deliver integrated CAD & PLM software solutions to internal customers in support of business needs. You will work with a cross-functional and cross-continental group of software developers and engineers who are creating, enhancing, and supporting CAD applications that are key to the Goodyear design community. The software engineer will design and develop software solutions within these critical systems.The candidate will evolve as part of a global software development team which implements IT R&D software solutions to support the tire design and manufacturing processes in different innovation and design centers and many manufacturing plants globally. The quality of our service is ensured through our implementation of industry standard ITIL practices.What You’ll Do:Main Responsibilities:Design, develop, and enhance enterprise CAD applications that integrate with PLM, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.Develop and maintain application components using .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET), SQL, Web Technologies and scripting tools to support engineering and business processes.Collaborate with business design groups, analysts, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.Adhere to established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and release governance.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across application, data, and integration layers where root causes are not immediately obvious.Maintain, enhance, and support sub-systems, integrations, and third-party components within the CAD application ecosystem.Ensure data integrity, system consistency, and application stability through robust design, validation, and control mechanisms.Develop and execute unit testing to ensure high-quality, defect-free deliverables aligned with development standards.Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to provide progress updates, technical insights, and risk identification.Seek guidance from senior IT associates when working with unclear requirements or unfamiliar technologies.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to team capability and quality standards.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and operational procedures.Evaluate and investigate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve application capabilities and developer efficiency.Support production deployments, including participation in change windows and off-hours activities as required.Operate effectively within EST time zone hours and support global delivery needs when necessary.What We’re Looking For:· BRONZE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.· BRONZE Minimum 7-8 years of experience in application development using C#, VB.NET, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies.·
