A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to take charge of accounting operations across multiple child care centers. This role involves transitioning from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite, managing full-cycle accounting, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate has extensive accounting experience and CPA certification. Qualificações

• 5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with transition projects from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite and transition projects from QBO to NetSuite.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite.
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Maintain and update loan schedules, insurance allocations, and related entries across operating entities
• Categorize transactions in Ramp, Brex, and other systems (~1 day/month)
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making
• Continuously improve accounting processes and leverage NetSuite functionality for efficiency gains
• Handle other responsibilities typically expected of a Senior Accountant

About the Role

We’ve partnered with a growing early childhood education provider that operates a nationwide network of child care centers. They are hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations across 20–30 centers and lead the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine hands-on accounting with process improvement, helping the organization scale as it continues to expand its footprint.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite (~70% complete), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations: general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
• Maintain and update loan schedules, insurance allocations, and related entries across operating entities
• Categorize transactions in Ramp, Brex, and other systems (~1 day/month)
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making
• Continuously improve accounting processes and leverage NetSuite functionality for efficiency gains
• Handle other responsibilities typically expected of a Senior Accountant

What We’re Looking For

• CPA or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in NetSuite
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and transition projects from QBO to NetSuite preferred
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently while supporting a multi-entity, growing organization
