Jumpstart Immigration provides a safer, more reliable path for global founders and skilled professionals seeking U.S. residency or work visas. We simplify the world’s most complex immigration processes by merging high-level legal expertise with statistical models and artificial intelligence. This data-driven approach allows us to offer an industry-leading 100% approval-or-refund guarantee for O-1 visas, including insurance coverage for government filing fees, thereby minimizing financial risk for our clients. Our methodology significantly accelerates the process, with application timelines often compressed into just one to two weeks.
Through our exclusive Founders Package, we provide a holistic transition to the U.S., encompassing immigration strategy, company formation partnerships, tax planning, and relocation services. Beyond the O-1, we are a strategic partner for high-talent categories, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, E-2, L-1, and H-1B.
Role Description
Demand for Jumpstart keeps growing. Founders and top professionals from around the world find us through events, communities, and referrals from past clients, and we’re expanding our sales team to meet them.
In this role, you own the full sales cycle. Our Growth team brings you a steady base of leads; you take them from discovery through negotiation to close. And when you spot an opportunity beyond that base, you’re free to go after it.
That takes more than sales skill. Immigration is a high-trust decision: every client is betting their career and family on a new chapter, so what you’re really selling is credibility. We’re looking for someone who pairs a consultant’s ear with a closer’s drive, who builds trust fast and creates urgency without pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sales: Work the lead base generated by Growth and own the full sales cycle, from first contact to close.
- Self-Generated Pipeline: Complement that base with your own initiative: your network, referrals, re-engaging past leads, events in the U.S. and online, and creative prospecting.
- Discovery: Run sharp discovery with founders, executives, and tech talent, understanding each person’s background, ambitions, timing, and decision criteria.
- Case Strategy: Design, with our legal team, the best strategy for each profile: O-1, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, E-2, L-1, H-1B, or the full Founders Package.
- Complex Negotiations: Lead deals involving multiple petitions, co-founders, or companies, always keeping them moving.
- Pipeline & Forecast: Keep a clean pipeline and an accurate forecast in the CRM.
- AI-Powered Selling: Use AI to pre-qualify leads, prepare assessments, and scale communication, freeing up time for what only a person can do well.
- Handoff to Operations: Ensure a seamless transition so every client feels welcomed from day one.
- Playbook Building: Bring market insight, test new approaches, and share learnings with the team.
Qualifications
- Sales Track Record: 4+ years in revenue-facing roles (sales, business development, partnerships, or customer success), with proven experience closing high-ticket consultative deals against a clear target.
- English: Ability to run an entire negotiation with clients from all over the world (Essential).
- Discovery & Executive Communication: You understand complex problems quickly, explain technical topics simply, and handle objections about price, timing, and uncertainty with concise, credible arguments. We’ll teach you immigration.
- Process & Data Discipline: Rigor with CRM, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting.
- Startup Familiarity: Experience in fast-paced environments. Many of our clients are founders, so speaking their language is a real advantage.
- Availability: Occasional travel to the U.S. and one weekend per month on a team rotation. A valid U.S. visa is a plus.
- Desirable: Experience selling high-involvement services (consulting, international education, wealth management); a network in the startup, VC, or tech ecosystem in Brazil or the U.S.; Spanish for Latin American clients; experience building process at a scaling startup; familiarity with U.S. visa processes.
The ideal profile
- Hustler Mindset: Competitive, resourceful, with strong ownership and a bias for action.
- Initiative: You create opportunities beyond the leads that come in, without relying solely on inbound.
- Trust Builder: You pair a consultant’s ear with a closer’s drive.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: Priorities shift quickly, processes are built while we run them, and resources are lean. You see ambiguity as room to create and enjoy working side by side with Growth, Legal, and Operations.
This might not be for you if
- You only work the leads that come in and don’t seek alternatives when the pipeline needs more.
- You prefer managing existing accounts to opening new opportunities.
- You need a ready-made playbook to perform. Here, you’ll help write it.
- Active prospecting, rejection, and persistent follow-up drain you.
- You’re uncomfortable being measured against a clear number.
Location & Compensation
This is a fully remote position for professionals based in Brazil. However, we believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration; the role involves occasional in-person meetups, travel to events in the U.S., and one weekend per month on a team rotation.
- Aggressive variable compensation tied to monthly targets, with bonuses that grow with each tier you reach. Here, performance turns into real earnings.
- Training in U.S. immigration from our legal team.
- Direct access to founders and a presence at events in the U.S.
- Real autonomy to build, test, and leave your mark at a company scaling fast.
