We are seeking a Senior 2D Concept Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating diverse artworks and will be responsible for rendering these in various angles or styles, including illustrations, concepts, portraits, backgrounds, sprites, textures, and more. As a senior artist, you should be capable of leading your visual vision through sketches and delivering final assets to developers or technical artists. You may also be tasked with defining project pipelines, mentoring junior team members, and preparing estimations and documentation.

What you will do:

Requirements:

• Proficiency with illustration tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.
• Strong understanding of shape language, color theory, anatomy, lighting, and perspective
• Highly creative with the ability to adapt to various art styles
• Excellent sketching and thumbnailing skills for communication
• Ability to match visual styles to project requirements
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Over 5 years of experience in game development
• A portfolio showcasing highly stylized art with cartoon and storytelling influences
• Expertise in building and environment design
• Leadership skills to guide and support team members on 2D tasks
• Ability to interact effectively with clients
• Experience with 2D asset creation pipelines and exporting assets

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of Spine animation tool
• Experience with Matte Painting concepting
• Basic 3D skills for overdraw art pipelines
• Some understanding of animation
