Mars is seeking a Cybersecurity Analytics and Internal Risk Analyst to grow our analytics capabilities and dashboards, demonstrating value to stakeholders. You will help identify risk across Mars and subsidiaries by analyzing large datasets, develop metrics for Cyber Defense, and support incident response on cross-functional teams.

The role requires 2+ years in business analytics, experience with Power BI or Grafana, SQL/KQL, and strong data storytelling skills to influence security decisions

Qualificações

• University degree in engineering/IT/computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced Data Analytics certifications preferred.
• Security certifications such as Security+ or Network+ preferred.
• Fluent/advanced English required.

Responsabilidades

• Member of the Analytics team to assist with analytics roadmap objectives and strategy.
• Co-develop dashboards and visualizations used for periodic updates to Security leadership.
• Coordinate closely with broader Cybersecurity, IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements for queries and dashboards.
• Be a trusted expert on how to visualize data to tell the story in an engaging and informative way.
• Analyze data to identify important and relevant stories to help improve security controls and reduce risk to the organization.
• Manage metrics within the team and assist with development for other teams within Cyber Defense & Cybersec Ops.
• Assist with tracking and managing data source pipeline for data lifecycle management efforts.
• Merge data sets outside of standard platforms to prototype data correlations and visualizations.
• Support the Cyber Defense Threat team in providing capacity for threat hunting in data sources.
• Recommend roadmap ideas for Cybersecurity's data & Dashboard platform technology.

This role supports the growth of the Cybersecurity Analytics and Internal Risk team. This will improve the ability to develop analytical tools and dashboards to help improve Information Security's ability to show value and efficacy to its stakeholders. Skills

• University degree (engineering/IT/computer science) or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced Data Analytics certification courses preferred: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), CompTIA Data Analytics Plus, or other comparable credential.
• Security Certifications preferred: Security+, Network+
• Advanced/Proficient English Language Skills

Experience

• 2+ years of work experience in a business analytics role creating dashboards
• Strong understanding and experience working with SIEM, EDR, phishing security controls, and Insider Threat programs.
• Dashboard and Visualization tool experience required (e.g., Power BI, Grafana)
• Knowledge of Power Query and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) required.
• Database experience preferred (e.g., SQL, KQL)
• Experience with regular expressions.
• Expert abilities with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Strong technical writing and speaking skills.
