Job Summary

As a Python Test Engineer, you'll collaborate with Engineers to understand features, business cases, and value creation. Your role involves assessing these aspects daily, developing test strategies, creating test cases, and ensuring the quality of software delivery according to the practices and procedures defined by the Quality Group.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create custom tools and frameworks to support test automation, utilizing modern development and test automation frameworks as needed.
• Architect strategic solutions for testing efforts.
• Identify bottlenecks in quality assurance processes and suggest improvements.
• Follow guidelines from the quality group to ensure all quality steps are adhered to.
• Proven experience as a software developer with Python.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a Scrum team.
• Develop Python scripts for testing using IDEs like PyCharm or IDLE.
• Experience with JSON.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Pytest and Selenium.
• Experience automating UI tests with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good understanding of version control tools like Git.
• Experience automating tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Katalon, or JMeter.
• Proficiency in SQL queries and hands-on experience with various databases.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Rally, or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3.
• Familiarity with test methodologies and tools like SIPp, Gatling, or k6.
• Experience delivering SaaS products.
• Ability to integrate best practices into daily activities.
