JobSummary

As a Python Test Engineer, you'll work alongside engineers to understand features, business cases, and value creation. Based on daily interactions, you'll produce test strategies, test cases, and assure software quality following practices and procedures from the Quality Group.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Create custom tools and frameworks to support test automation using modern development and test automation frameworks.
2. Architect strategic solutions for overall testing efforts.
3. Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
4. Follow guidelines set by the quality group to ensure all quality steps are followed.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a software developer with Python.
• Experience with manual or automation testing.
• Ability to work as part of a Scrum team.
• Experience developing Python scripts for testing using IDEs like PyCharm or IDLE.
• Ability to use JSON effectively.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest and Selenium.
• Experience automating UI tests with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good knowledge of version control tools like Git.
• Experience automating tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with RESTful API testing using Postman, Katalon, or JMeter.
• Proficient in SQL queries and familiar with various databases.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Rally, or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of AWS tools such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3.
• Knowledge of test methodologies and tools like SIPp, JMeter, Gatling, k6.
• Experience delivering SaaS products.
• Ability to connect best practices with daily activities.
