Zusammenfassung

A Cultura Inglesa está recrutando um(a) docente de ciências para lecionar em inglês, desenvolvendo alfabetização científica por meio de ensino prático e alinhado à BNCC.

O(a) docente conduzirá atividades de laboratório com segurança, integrará Biologia, Química e Física em projetos e apoiará o desenvolvimento linguístico dos alunos no idioma. Requisito: fluência em inglês e formação relacionada, com foco na aprendizagem contínua.

Aufgaben

• Planejar aulas alinhadas ao BNCC e currículos locais e internacionais.

• Ensinar em inglês, com foco no desenvolvimento da linguagem.

Teaching and Language

• Teach in English, with a clear and deliberate focus on language development.
• Develop pupils' scientific vocabulary and their ability to communicate technical ideas in English.
• Foster logical reasoning, data analysis and evidence-based argument.
• Plan targeted individual interventions where needed.

Assessment and Monitoring

• Keep systematic records and produce lab reports and progress reports.
• Plan and administer formative and summative assessments.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching decisions.
• Keep school information systems up to date.

Professional Commitment

• Take part in professional development, staff meetings, pupil progress meetings and school projects.
• Follow school protocols, internal policies and guidance from leadership.
• Contribute to curriculum review within the subject area.

Requisitos e qualificações

Expected Profile

• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field.
• Dedicated, committed and collaborative.
• Committed to ongoing professional learning.

English Proficiency and Certification

• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• A recognised international certificate is desirable (e.g. Cambridge FCE/CAE, TOEFL or IELTS).
• Ability to teach lessons and practical work entirely in English, including scientific and technical vocabulary.

Expected Experience

• Experience teaching Science at lower secondary level (Ensino Fundamental II, from Year 6 / 6º ano, pupils aged 11–12).
• Experience in bilingual settings or of teaching Science through English as the language of instruction.
• Experience of curriculum planning aligned with the BNCC and international frameworks.
• Experience of practical, laboratory-based teaching and formative assessment.
• Experience of international curricula (e.g. IB, Cambridge or the English National Curriculum) is desirable.
