Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking an SAP Data Specialist who can bridge raw data and business operations within SAP environments to optimize performance and data integrity. You will manage, extract, and interpret data to support executive decision-making and ensure accurate master data across enterprise systems.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, perform BAU testing, and guide ETL processes using SAP and Informatica Power Center, with a strong focus on SQL, data quality, and finance data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ETL in SAP environments.
• Proficiency with Informatica Power Center for Data Integration.
• Experience working with DB2.
• Proficiency with interface data from many disparate systems into SAP (S/4) Finance.
• Deep proficiency in SQL.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and project management abilities.
• Have supported an environment with Finance and Accounting data.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications.
• Understands the business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT.
• Responsible for the conceptual design of business applications.
• Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier.
• Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.
• Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components.
• Reviews and validates the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.
• Supports the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, training as required.
• Maintain, audit, and update system master data to ensure accuracy across cross-functional enterprise systems.
• Investigate system anomalies, data drift, and data quality issues, implementing fixes to prevent operational disruptions.
• Works directly with business stakeholders or requirements, performing testing and BAU support.
