Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA / SAP Datasphere Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions. You will build scalable data models, ensure high-performance data integration, and support transition to cloud data platforms.

The role requires hands-on SAP expertise, strong communication, and collaboration with technical and business teams to deliver robust analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA.
• HANA modeling and SQLScript expertise.
• Experience designing complex BW objects (ADSOs, CompositeProviders, ODS Views).
• Hands-on ABAP knowledge for transformations, user exits, and routines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
• Assist with modernization efforts, including migration from legacy BW systems and integration with cloud data platforms.
• Build and optimize HANA native models, SQLScript logic, and calculation views.
• Develop high-performance ETL pipelines using SDI, SLT, or BODS.
• Partner with analytics teams to deliver semantic models for SAC, or other BI tools.
• Assist with incident resolution, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for SAP data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support DevOps processes including gCTS/CTS+, Git-based workflows, CI/CD automation.
• Contribute to architecture roadmaps, technology evaluations, and long-term strategic planning.

What You Will Do
