Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to maintain and optimize complex SAP environments. You will ensure stability and security across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid setups, while coordinating kernel updates, transports, and upgrades.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP Basis experience, strong English communication, and a hands‑on mindset with ITIL-based service management. Hybrid work model is offered.

What will you do?

• Ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation of SAP landscapes across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Monitor and maintain SAP systems, databases, and interfaces to ensure high availability and performance.
• Execute SAP system administration activities, including client administration, transport management, and job scheduling.
• Perform SAP kernel updates, patching, support package implementations, and technical maintenance activities.
• Analyze and resolve technical incidents, service requests, and problems, ensuring compliance with defined SLAs.

What are we looking for?

• Solid hands-on experience of at least 5 years in SAP Basis administration and operations, with proven support for productive enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP HANA platforms.
• Extensive experience with SAP system administration, including transport management, patching, upgrades, client copies, user administration (SIVIS), and S/4 Fiori Administration.
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid SAP environments (Cloud Connector, CPI, BTP), operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), and ITIL-based service management processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and manage operational priorities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
