We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to promote and expand our business portfolio in the Brazilian market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of regional sales objectives aligned with Bluesail's mission, implementing sales strategies, identifying key market opportunities and collaborating with distributors and customers to ensure company results. The Sales Specialist is an important technical resource for executing strategic activities, helping to build a community of satisfied customers, as well as providing regular feedback/information on specific sales opportunities, the market and competitor activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategic sales activities to achieve sales targets, working closely with the Brazilian sales team to increase the company’s market share.
  • Communicate essential product knowledge to the sales team and customers through networking with potential customers and industry professionals.
  • Promote and publicize the Bluesail Surgical brand among customers and distributors, monitor surgeries in the surgical center, and provide product training for customers and distributors.
  • Identify innovative and competitive solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Proactively interact with customers to understand their needs, answer questions and provide appropriate solutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the market environment, including: current and future industry trends, practices and information that impact the business; competition and competitive environment; market strategies and tactics.
  • Initiate, develop, build and maintain long-term relationships with all levels of customers.
  • Assist the sales team in developing and customizing territory plans and then supporting their execution.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A background in a medical-related profession is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years of proven success in sales of surgical instruments. Experience in selling ultrasonic knives or surgical staplers is highly preferred.
  • Advanced English as it will be used as the primary working language for sales and product training.
  • Availability to travel domestically on business as needed to support sales initiatives and attend industry events.
