Job description

Join us as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi-dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART, our first-in-class neonatal Fc receptor blocker approved for the treatment of gMG, and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases. We are building a new kind of biotech company, one that maintains its roots as a science-based start-up and pushes our commitment to innovate across all corners of our business. We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients. We are building the commercial future of argenx in Brazil — and you will help shape it. As Sales & Marketing Director, you will build the model, capabilities and team that move our affiliate from launch to sustainable growth. You will turn insight into choices, science into clear customer engagement and shared ambition into action. As part of the Brazil Leadership Team, you will influence how we grow and the culture we create together.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Strategy and planning
    • Co-create our Brazil commercial and brand strategy with customers and cross-functional, regional and global partners.
    • Bring insights from patient communities and the field into the conversation.
    • Turn insight into clear priorities, deliberate resource choices and plans that move us forward.
    • Build the commercial model and capabilities we need to move from launch to sustainable growth.
    • Shape our forecasts, budgets and affiliate business plan as a member of the Brazil Leadership Team.
  2. Sales leadership
    • Build and grow our field organization.
    • Create the trust, clarity and space for different perspectives and bold ideas to thrive.
    • Turn shared priorities into focused territory and account plans that deepen customer understanding and sharpen execution.
    • Stay close to the field.
    • Coach through real situations and keep raising the quality of customer engagement.
    • Use clear measures to understand progress, learn fast and adapt with discipline.
  3. Marketing Lead
    • Lead launch and brand execution across channels.
    • Ground every choice in customer needs and insights from patient communities.
    • Make complex science clear, relevant and meaningful through purposeful customer experiences.
    • Shape congress, promotional and peer-to-peer activities with Medical Affairs and other partners.
    • Protect scientific rigor and meet Brazilian regulations, industry codes and argenx standards.
  4. Cross-functional collaboration
    • Work as one team with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Legal and Compliance.
    • Bring the commercial and field perspective into decision-making process.
    • Connect Brazil with our regional and global teams.
    • Share what we learn locally and draw on the strength of the wider argenx network.
  5. The Leadership you will bring
    • Connects commercial ambition to what it can mean for patients.
    • Leads through expertise, trust and influence — not hierarchy.
    • Listens with curiosity, asks better questions and invites different perspectives into the work.
    • Challenges assumptions and gives bold ideas room to grow — then turns discussion into action.
    • Moves with urgency and calm, balancing ambition with scientific rigor, humility and respect for compliance.
Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • A track record of building teams and leading across functions
  • A strong understanding of Brazil’s healthcare systems and local promotional regulations
