About the Role
This role will focus on the acquisition and retention of customers for ILTM Latin America and ILTM North America.
Responsibilities:
15% of your time/responsibility
Commercial Growth:
- Develop an understanding of the shows market, its vendors, and needs.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, understanding their businesses and marketing needs, and be seen as part of the industry.
- Sell to senior-level prospects and customers through face-to-face and telephone interactions to achieve new business and increase revenues from existing customers.
- Manage floor plans and allocate stand space in conjunction with the Sales Team Manager.
- Effectively manage CRM campaigns across multiple events.
- Accurately report progress through weekly sales reports and forecast revenue projections.
- Sell exhibition space, digital, and sponsorship opportunities to current and new exhibitors, both over the phone and face-to-face where required.
- Attend Reed Exhibitions and competitor events domestically and internationally to maintain relationships, expand the database, and prospect for new business.
- Work closely with the Sales Team Manager to deliver sales plans and targets.
- Use data to inform decision-making and build insights into client and industry performance.
- Promote a suite of products that help clients achieve objectives, including participation at events, digital products, sponsorship, and branding opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of show markets, vendors, and needs to become industry experts.
25% of your time/responsibility
New Business Acquisition:
- Attract new companies to participate at events and engage with our brands with a growth mindset.
- Attend industry, competitor, and trade association events domestically and internationally to gather market intelligence, maintain, and create new relationships.
- Identify and engage potential exhibitors and sponsors, leveraging existing networks and building new relationships.
20% of your time/responsibility
Customer Optimization:
- Act as a trusted advisor, sharing industry knowledge and best practices to inspire customers.
- Engage clients in both face-to-face and digital environments, multithreading relationships with key partners to understand their value drivers.
- Use data to demonstrate the value of participation, identify opportunities, and increase order value.
20% of your time/responsibility
Collaboration:
- Be a team player with strong communication skills, committed to an inclusive environment.
- Work across functions including operations, marketing, finance, and brand leadership.
- Manage CRM campaigns effectively across multiple events.
- Ensure compliance with policies and promote ethical practices.

- Maintain accurate customer information in Salesforce and a reliable pipeline for reporting.
- Seek opportunities for growth, take risks, and own your development.

- Become knowledgeable about macro and micro trends across industries and geographies.
- Stay ahead of future trends and represent RX Global at industry events.
- Attend global competitor events to maintain relationships and prospect new business.

Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience in tourism and hospitality is desirable.
- Exhibition/media sales experience is desirable.
- Fluent in English.
